What Are You Thankful For Today?

1.  I'm thankful for Christmas music.  I heard my first Christmas song of the season on the radio today.  I still think it's a little early but I just got so nostalgic since it was "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire" by Nat King Cole.  It reminded me of my childhood.

2.  I'm thankful for a new playground to explore today.  I have been at a loss as to where to take the kids to play.  All of the parks nearby seem to only have sand surrounding the playground equipment.  We joined new friends and had a fun afternoon together.

3.  I'm thankful for doctor's appointments.  I'm taking the kids to a new pediatrician tomorrow.  I'm grateful that we have good insurance.  Simon's eczema is at an all-time high and we desperately need some help.

4.  I'm thankful for cleaned-out dressers.  I went through the kids' drawers today while putting away laundry.  I removed all out-of-season and small clothes.  Unfortunately Simon has little left.  He need some more shirts.

5.  I'm thankful for Piper's daily affirmations.  Piper told me multiple times today, "Sometimes I can't believe that you're my mother."  And she meant it in a good way, thankfully.

If the same thing came out of Holden's mouth, it would definitely not be meant in a good way.
