Raspberries

So Piper tried whole raspberries today for the first time. She got excited by the novelty of the fact that she can put them on her finger like a finger puppet. However she didn't like the way they tasted very much. She would put one on her finger and pretend to eat it but then offer it to me. Tasty.

Missing Daddy

Don't chase me, don't get me. Help!

See how tall I am!

Let's call Daddy.

Books and Birds

Open, close, open, close.

A bookworm, just like her mom.

We went to Centennial Park today and fed the ducks. To our surprise, there were tons of black swans and even a pelican, too.

Kangaroos and Grandparents

So Grandma Vicki and Grandpa Allen are down under in Australia, and they brought Kym and Nick too. We've had fun on their visit. They are coming back tomorrow for a few more days before heading back home. We went to an animal park while they were here and saw some amazing animals. As you can see we got to feed kangaroos. We also got to pet a koala and stand close to a wombat. Piper seemed pretty happy, if a bit tired. She loves all of the attention she gets with family in town. She was one happy girl. I think she likes her family, go figure.

Latest Piper update

So here are some recent photos of Piper. She's such a character and is very good natured. She can crawl really fast and is learning how to stand on her own. She's eleven months old now and can wave, feed herself, and clap. Her teeth are really strong (she has seven of them now) and loves to bite anything and everything, including her crib and our fingers. She is getting to be quite a big girl. Tell us how to keep her from growing up so fast!
