Simon's silly sayings

Lately Simon has had just an explosion of vocabulary.  He makes us laugh almost daily by the crazy things he says or repeats.  Here's a smattering of his choicest sayings.

• (when cuddling with me in bed in the morning) Simon: Mom, you hair look nice.

• (while pretending a stepstool is a skateboard) Simon: Check this out.

• Get on board! (This one comes from Rick who's trying to teach Simon to say, "Get on board, Horowitz!" who is a guy at work.)

• Other funny words thanks to Rick and my mom: Lamborghini, Cucamonga (pronounced "Cookoomunga") and Absolutely!

Our friends Chet and Sharee came to visit and brought their two cute boys with them.  All the kids were fast friends.

 Here's us at the Children's Museum in San Diego with some old friends from New York.

We enjoyed a visit from Grandma Ann and Grandpa Rich.  We went to the L.A. zoo together.

Piper and I went to a birthday party at the Petersen Automotive Museum.  Such fun with all her preschool friends.

Piper loved the warm rice bag she got from my mom.  She called it her comforter.  I had to hide it once the weather got too hot - she loved it that much.
