Just peachy

This sweater was knitted by Grandma Vicki with some help from Great-grandma Dody. I'd say that Dody would be pleased with how it turned out. No photos of the hat with it, though she did wear it.

In My Room

Piper seems to like having her own room. Here she is playing with her sheep "Lamington Lamrock" that her Grannie Annie gave her at Easter. (A Lamington is special Australian cake.) She loves to read her books too.

Kittyhawk in Sydney

Recently the aircraft carrier "Kittyhawk" was docked in Sydney Harbour only steps from our apartment. We were able to see it really well from our house. Potts Point was busy with lots of American "squid." Rick and I kept wanting to talk to them to tell them what they should do while in Sydney. It gave us a bit of an idea of what Mark's tours in the sub were probably like.

First Haircut

A few weeks ago Piper got her first haircut. Here are the photos of the event. She seemed unaffected by it and was happy with the result. Rick claims that she has a mullet now but I think she looks fine.

Upcoming vacation...

We're going on vacation to Thailand next week so I'll try to get some of our latest photos up before we go. Piper has grown so much in the few weeks since our last post. She's walking all over the place and has been for about a month already.
