1. Veterans. I realized and someone pointed out to me that on Veteran's Day I forgot to mention veterans. I am grateful for all those that have served and do serve our country. I am especially proud of my family members that served in the military, namely my brother, my brother-in-law, my father-in-law, my nephew, my grandpa, and two uncles. They and their families sacrifice so much to protect my freedoms.
2. Date night. Rick and I went out to dinner together tonight. It was the first date in a while and I'm particularly grateful for my dad who came and watched the kids.
3. A clean home. I was able to tidy up, empty the dishwasher, do laundry, clean both bathrooms, vacuum, and sweep the floors. It feels good.
4. Good friends. I miss all of my good friends back in Cleveland. They are such kindred spirits and phone calls don't do justice to being amidst them. I felt instantly at home with all of you - like we'd always known each other. Thinking of you often Emily, Shay, Sara, Sarah, Lauralee, Maria, Anne, Andrea, Jodi, Brigid, Tara, Candace, Maria, Chee, Holly P., Holly D., Heidi, Hillary, Kim K., Kim O., Terri, and Lexi.
5. Early church tomorrow. Our Primary combines with another Primary since we don't have tons of kids. Tomorrow is their program so we get to go to the earlier ward which meets at 10:40, rather than our 12:00 church.
