Piper has frequently lamented with her sad little face, "I want a little brother or sister." She got her wish: I'm currently twelve weeks pregnant with baby #2. I'm due on August 31st.
I was sick most of January and exhausted beyond belief. I actually lost some weight because of the nausea. Good thing I was on the heavy side (for me) before I got pregnant. And Rick worked from home most of the month which was great since he could take care of Piper. With me she's watched more TV and movies than I care to admit.
For now things are going well. Piper is very excited. When we told her that I was pregnant, she said, "in your tummy? Let's open it now." Too funny. Then the next morning she crawled in bed with us and Rick reminded her about the baby. Piper replied, "Mommy has a baby in her tummy and she give it to me. I be very happy."
That's our good news for this week.

Hip hip hooray, how fabulous - apart from the feeling yuk - how exciting, new babies are such a special gift. My new grandson is gorgeous by the way and Jade was here with us when he was born. She is so in love with her FIRST first cousin, it's cute to see.

Piper was so cute announcing that she was going to be a "big sister" on the webcam! What a cute way to announce your pregnancy. Piper will be such a cute little "Mommy" won't she? Now she can't move to Paris and become a chef (not yet anyway).
