This past Friday was our stake's celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Columbus LDS Temple. Since I couldn't really go what with needing to feed Simon and all Rick went to the temple. Piper, Simon, and I went along to Columbus for the ride. It was our first trip there and we had a good time. The weather was hot so we walked around the temple grounds, collected leaves, and ate cookies while Rick was inside. Then we went to the outlet mall and bought Piper a craft table from Pottery Barn Kids. We had dinner at A&W before driving the three hours home. It was a fun day, though Piper came down with croup that night. Maybe not so much fun.

Sometimes, my provincialism rears its ugly head and thinks things like, "Well I'll be! A temple in Columbus, Ohio! What'll they think of next?"
