Can a post by one of the titular characters of a blog really be considered a "guest post?" Well, it is my first ever post on this blog which has been running for who knows how long so I say yes. So what's the occasion you ask? Good question. As the title implies, I have recently achieved a long-time dream of mine and, well, I wanted to brag a little. Am I referring to landing a job recently that had been a dream job of mine in college, a job I never thought I could realistically get? Um, no. So I got a job, big whoop. No, I'm referring to this:
A crummy fridge you say? How dare you? That's not just any fridge. That, my friends (ha, I can't even write that phrase without immediately thinking of John McCain), is my beverage fridge! And yes, I've dreamed of having this magnificent beast for many years. I can't trace my pinings to their origin, but I do know that the flames of this passion were certainly fanned by my friend Bunkero, who had a pop machine in his apartment(s) in New York. Visiting his place was such a treat, not only for the great company, but also for the comforting knowledge that a variety of ice cold sodies was always at the ready. The last time I visited Bunkero, at his new home in Utah, I discovered that his pop machine was out of commission. I was saddened, but Bunkero, to you I say, take heart buddy, and know that you're always welcome at my beverage fridge. Heaven knows I owe you a few (hundred). Now enjoy the pics:

holy smokes!! is that for real?!
What a great idea! Where in the world is it? I have a girlfriend here who has a second kitchen downstairs off her family room that is stocked with nothing but munchies for watching movies and a beverage fridge. It's like a little piece of heaven. BTW, that is freakishly organized.
Totally awesome! There's even Cherry Coke in there for me. That beverage fridge is worth the trip alone. We'll have to plan a visit and I'll be sure to show D-dog the pics. He'll be plenty jealous.
Dear Johnson....this is Darin (aka Bunkero), I think I can safely say that fridge is truely meeting the measure of its creation. Nice work! Beverages are paramount.
I love it!! There's only one thing missing - - where's the beer?
I am with Marci. Where's the beer? You have no idea how jealous I am! Really. I have been really into the same idea for about 6 months now.
Hey - Mother-in-law here drinks Pepsi, you don't need beer, but you do need PEPSI!
Nicely stocked (Misty)
Mom
Amberly, it's as real as a Jayhawk is awesome (i.e. off-the-charts real)
Stacy, It's in the basement and yes, I think I have slight OCD tendencies.
Chellese, I'm hoping the fridge will lure you guys out for a visit!
Bunkero, there's nothing like tasty beverages. Do I need Code Red for you though?
Villas, take a closer look, that fridge is full of (root) beer!
Youg mother-in-law Victor Victoria, first of all, I stocked the fridge, not Misty. Second, the exclusion of Pepsi is intentional but I'm nothing if not accomodating. Next time you come out, the Pepsi will flow abundantly!
